The concept

CONTINUUM is an international project exploring how traditions evolve and acquire new meanings. Craftspeople, artists, designers, researchers and communities from different cultures work together to transform inherited techniques, symbols and stories into contemporary expressions of art, design and technology. Rather than preserving tradition as something static, the project allows it to continue, transform and inspire new generations.
